Chocolate Cake
Ingredients:
For the cake:
2 cups of wheat flour
1 and 3/4 cups of granulated sugar
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 and 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 and 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
2 eggs
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup of hot water
For filling and covering:
200 gr of semi-sweet chocolate
1 cup cream (cream)
1/4 cup of butter
1/2 cup sugar glass (impalpable)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- How to make chocolate cake with filling and topping
- Preheat oven to 180°C and grease two 20 cm diameter cake moulds.
- In a large bowl sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, milk, oil and vanilla extract until a uniform mass is formed.
- Mix well the wet ingredients with the dry ones.
- Add the hot water and mix again.
- Pour the dough into the moulds and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a stick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes and then transfer to a rack.
- In a saucepan heat the cream (cream) without boiling. Remove from the heat and add the chopped chocolate.
- Stir until the mixture is smooth.
- In a bowl, beat the butter with the sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the melted chocolate mixture and beat until the frosting is well combined.
- Once the cakes are cold, spread the chocolate filling between the layers of cake and then over the whole pie.
- Decorate to taste.
